To deregister a vehicle you need:
Vehicle registration card
Identity card of the owner/co-owner or a written power of attorney if the person deregistering the vehicle is not its owner
If the vehicle has changed ownership and has not been re-registered, a vehicle purchase agreement is also required
If there is no registration certificate – a certified copy of the certificate or a certificate from the office
After receiving a certificate of dismantling the vehicle or a certificate of acceptance of an incomplete vehicle, the owner is obliged to file a request for deregistration of the vehicle with the communications department competent for the place of registration. The fact that the vehicle has been deregistered must also be reported to the insurer with whom the vehicle’s third-party liability policy was purchased.
